This year we will have 2 locations in Topsham.  Both locations are fully staffed by our family and open 7 days a week (weather permitting).  We recently constructed a new driveway and convenient parking lot at the farm; please visit our newly expanded sales and production facility. _________________________________________________________________________________________

Sunset Farms is family-owned and operated for more than five generations. In the late 1930s, Grampa and Grammy Shellenbarger raised vegetables, dairy cows and meat animals. In 1986, Roy and Julie Wallace and family came to live with Grampa. Over the years, the animals have gone, the greenhouse business has grown, and so has our family.

     The farm is located on the outskirts of Topsham, Maine.  Topsham is a small town 30 minutes north of Portland via I295.

We introduced Sunset Farms 20 years ago building wreaths in a 1 1/2 car garage with very little heat and 1 wreath machine.  Today we make wreaths in a greenhouse where heat is plentiful and we have 3 wreath machines, 3 decorating stations and a station for building custom arrangements.  Our display area is located in the adjacent greenhouse so customers are not subjected to the mess (but, vistors are always welcome to watch our production).

In the spring, all four of our greenhouses are filled to capacity with hanging baskets, arrangements, vegetables, etc. while hardier plants are kept outside.
